About
I believe that every patient needs a treatment to be tailored to her specific needs according to her age, her fertility problem and her wish.
Infertility may be complex on several levels. Instead of sending you in different directions, I gather most of the activity. Therefore it is possible to see things as a whole- creating for the patient a personal type of treatment and protocol, diagnostics tests of uterine cavity, clarification of multiple abortions, exploring repeated implant failures, insemination and fertilization, egg donation, surrogacy and so on
Throughout the way I remind myself how fortunate I am to be a part of a patient’s journey in the most significant goal of her life Therefore it is important for me to be available, attentive, open for suggestions and ideas and up to date with all innovations in the field of fertility.

FAQs
Infertility is defined if after a year of having intercourse close to ovulation time (with or without ovulation monitoring) assuming you have regular menstrual cycles, and without getting pregnant. Women over the age of 35 are advised to turn to a fertility specialist after 6 months, in case a significant fertility problem is diagnosed as it is necessary to proceed more quickly.
Age: From the abnormal genetic eggs and over the age of 40 the chances of a healthy pregnancy are significantly lower therefore there is a need to act in great determination in order to achieve pregnancy.
Mechanical factor: Abnormality in the fallopian tubes such as obstruction (Hydrosalpinx – a condition where one or two fallopian tubes are blocked). Some of fallopian tubes abnormalities can be diagnosed and treated by uterine X-Ray or Hysterosalpingography which I perform in the clinic.
Endometriosis: A diagnosed chronic and progressive infertility which is prevalent is present among 10-15% of women in fertility age and is categorised by the presence of lesions of the endometrial tissue in areas outside the uterus or ovaries. The condition is mostly diagnosed by the woman and at times endometrioma (ovarian cysy) can be founage of 35 starts a decline in woman’s fertility which is mostly expressed in a higher rate ofd in ultrasound and clearly diagnosed in laparoscopy. Women who suffer from different severity levels of endometriosis find it difficult to conceive naturally due to a chronic inflammation in the reproductive organs. The most effective solution to this condition is IVF.
Sperm abnormalities: Poor sperm quality prevents the egg to be naturally fertilized due to low sperm count, mobility or low sperm morphology (structure). The solution for a severe male factor is IVF.
Additional factors: Underactive Thyroid, uterine myomas, Septa uterus (which can be removed by surgical hysteroscopy), sexual transmitted diseases, diseases such as diabetes, significant overweight, autoimmune diseases and more.
Unexplained infertility: Approximately 25% of couples will suffer from unexplained infertility and that could be resolved by standard fertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination. These couples will most likely be able to conceive with IVF or at least there will be a better understanding of the problem.
I offer women who are interested in egg donation different options according to their personal preferences, financial abilities and their family goals.
Fertility preservation is recommended for women who are interested in postponing the age of becoming mothers for various reasons, orthodox women who are interested in a large number of children to get pregnant using their own eggs also at an older age and recently, also for women who risk losing their menstrual cycle early.
